Clients, projects, and tasks introduction


The application is broken out into a hierarchy of clients, projects, and tasks. Each one has a purpose.


  1. Client
    The client is the top level item in the hierarchy. A client is who you can bill.
  2. Project
    A project is under the client. A project is a planned undertaking that you want to track time on.
  3. Task
    An individual item under a project. A task can be assigned to all users or selected users. A task is what users log time against.
