You can compare your actual hours versus estimates to help see how your budget lines up with reality. To start tracking you will need to add your budgets estimates to a task. Below shows how to enter your budgeted hours.

To see a graph showing how the hours accumulated over time, run the the Task Budget Forecast Graph report. This chart can be shown by project which gives the information presented by totaling all actual and budgeted hours for each task in the project. Or it can be run for an individual task. Below shows an example of how the hours accumulated weekly over time for the development task.

Another way to view the project task hours compared to actual hours is to run the Project Budget vs Actual Hours report. This report gives project task information by each project.
